A Weekend in Boston
Well, you guessed it, another city with only a week to visit, and this time it’s Boston…
Starting off, Boston is such a foodie city. Like everything I ate, I am still dreaming about!
On to what to do!
Note: Times are flexible; it all depends on what you like to do. On another note, I went to spend money on food rather than tours!
I stayed in an Airbnb in Roxbury because it was cheap, in a quiet area, and accessible to the T, but I mostly used Uber because it was cheap and time-efficient.
Day 1:
3pm—Check into your Airbnb and head to the North End of Boston. Enjoy walking around the cute historical streets. Visit historical sites, including the Paul Revere House and the Old North Church. Make reservations at an Italian restaurant and end the night with a sweet treat.
Restaurant recommendations: Benventos or La Famiglia Giorgio are both super yummy and have great Gluten-Free options as well.
8 pm: End the night getting drinks at the various bars or Uber back to your Airbnb and get some rest! Depending on your vibe, Fiore has a nice rooftop, Corner Cafe for more pub vibes, and Ward 8 for yummy cocktails.
Day 2:
Morning: Start the morning with coffee from Solid Ground in Mission Hill, then make your way to Milkweed for the best breakfast/brunch
1 pm: Head to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
After the Museum, Uber or take public transit to Quincy Market for late lunch!
Then, take yourself on your own walking tour by heading to Faneuil Market and then to the Old State House/Boston Massacre Memorial.
From there, make your way to the Granary Burying Ground to see the graves of Peter Faneuil, Sam Adams, John Hancock, James Otis, Robert Treat Paine, Paul Revere, and members of Ben Franklin's family.
After that walk through the Boston Commons and the Boston Public Garden!
End the day by exploring Cambridge, going to the Harvard bookstore, and enjoying delicious seafood and cocktails at The Hourly Oyster House.
Day 3: Fly Home!!!
