Philadelphia Food Guide

I might just have to say it….

Philly is my favorite food city!

You can’t blame me. There is soooooo much good food and you can find anything you are looking for and more.

So on to it my favorite restaurants in Philly!!

*Note there are so many restaurants but these are the ones I frequent the most.*

Dinner at Parc. Salmon, muscles and fries plated.

Salmon, muscles and fries plated. Dinner at Parc.

1. Parc

Ok let's get this one out of the way. This is a Philly classic and for a good reason! Located right in Rittenhouse square this restaurant serves French and upscale bistro food. Additionally they have the yummiest brunch out there! Vibes are immaculate in this restaurant. The staff makes you feel so special, I love getting dinner here and brunch. Side note: I dream about that bread basket!

Price $$$ but you get what you're paying for!

Also make reservations in advance here on OpenTable.

2. Shiroi Hana

Now who doesn’t love Sushi!!! Shiroi Hana is incredible. This restaurant is cozy but has the most calming energy. The music is soft, the lights dimmed and you can see the chefs make the sushi right in front of you. This restaurant has incredibly nice staff, is reasonably priced, and so so good. They also have things on their menu that are not just sushi that are great as well.

Price $$ - so worth it

3. Thanal

This was one of the first places I ate at in Philly and I will go back again and again. Indian food at its best! Classical Indian food, and lots of vegetarian options. The inside is very relaxing, and minimal in the best way possible. But if you go here, go for the food because you will think about it for days after!!

Price $ - very reasonable

4. DanDan

So DanDan is some of the best noodle dishes in the city! DanDan has a vibey interior with great food at a great price. What can beat that?? DanDan has a large menu of Sichuan and Taiwanese Dishes. Also if you're going on a weekend you will need reservations.

Price $ - Depends on what you get but worth you money.

Now let's talk about the yummy breakfast and coffee I dream about!

5. Ants Pants

This cafe serves great brunch/breakfast and they have food for everyone, vegan, vegetarian etc… The inside is very cozy so if you are going on a Sunday, get there early. I love the coziness and the Australian flair this cafe has! Also the food here felt light and was packed with yummy veggies! Plus they have a mean cup of coffee.

6. Sabrina’s  Cafe

Brunch from here is always sooooo good. The breakfast tacos are delicious!!!! Anyway this is a classic Philly chain. It's local but they have many locations. The wait can be long but it's so worth it. Good vibes 100%

7. Elixir

Also a loved place in Philly, Elixir is an all around great coffee shop. And if you're visiting you have to get strawberry matcha or the strawberry latte! Both these drinks you will be craving days later!
